GRASS REINFORCEMENT MESH

Grass Reinforcement Mesh is a green coloured thick plastic mesh designed to be applied directly to existing grass surfaces that require additional protection from wear caused by occasional traffic and vehicles. Manufactured in the UK, the mesh is supplied on 2M x 20M rolls (40sqm) and is fixed to level, free-draining grass surfaces using our steel U-Pins. In the grass growing season, the grass will quickly grow through the plastic mesh apertures and over-time (probably a growing season), the mesh will have intertwined with the grass roots. This protects the grass roots from damage from light vehicle use (such as overflow grass car parks, lawn parking and grass paths.

We supply two grade of Grass Protection Mesh:

Heavy Grade - 13mm thick / 2kg/sqm - Suitable for overflow car parking reinforcement

Medium Grade - 11mm thick / 1.6kg/sqm - for less frequent parking applications

We can supply the following products from stock in pallet quantities of 4 rolls:

• HEAVY 2m x 20m 2kg/sqm / 80kg roll

• MEDIUM 2m x 20m 1.6kg/sqm / 64kg roll
   

Grass reinforcement mesh works only if the ground is well-drained, is level (no slopes) and when time is allowed for the grass to grow into the mesh (This can take a growing season).
