GABION MESH BASKETS
Gabion mesh baskets are used in geotechnical, landscaping, civil engineering and DIY projects where a stone retaining wall is required for decorative or retaining wall application.
Mastermesh's Galfan steel wire mesh Gabion baskets are manufactured from 3mm, 4mm or 5mm dia. steel wire, and are supplied with a 3" inch / 75mm square mesh hole. The wire mesh is welded at each intersection / corner. The class A GALFAN coating is superior to galvanisation as it's an alloy of zinc / aluminium alloy that protects the steel wire from corrosion / rust.
Gabion mesh cages create an attractive, but highly stable basket where the stone fill can me placed to make an attractive wall.
We supply gabion baskets as kits which include 6 to 7 wire mesh panels per gabion cage, plus bracing wire and either clips or helicoils for fixing the gabions.
We also supply the gabion mesh panels on their own so the gabions can be purchased more efficiently and the size of the mesh baskets can be altered on-site if required (subject to the size of panels purchased
Gabion Mesh is supplied is many panel sizes to make 0.5m x 0.5m, 0.5m , 1m x 0.5m x 0.5m, 1m x 1m x0.5m, 1m x 1m x 1m, 1.5m x 0.5m x 0.5m, 1.5m x 1m x0.5m, 1.5m x 1m x 1m, 2m x 0.5m x 0.5m, 2m x 1m x0.5m, 2m x 1m x 1m. Our gabion mesh baskets are available in 3mm diameter wire and 4mm diameter wire. Gabions can also be joined using CL35 stainless steel clips or helicoils.

Our gabions are manufactured from Class A Galfan Steel. Galfan is a coating that is far superior to Galvanisation ensuring your gabion walls are there to last.
